Getting Started

1. Visit claude.ai and create a free account — you get access to Claude Sonnet immediately.
2. Upgrade to Claude Pro ($20/mo) for Opus 4 access, higher limits, and priority during peak usage.
3. For API access, sign up at console.anthropic.com and grab your API key.
4. Choose your model: claude-opus-4-6 for maximum capability, claude-sonnet-4-6 for the sweet spot, or claude-haiku-4-5-20251001 for speed and cost efficiency.

Model Family

• Claude Opus 4.6 — The most powerful model. Excels at complex reasoning, long autonomous coding sessions, multi-step research, and tasks requiring deep expertise. Ideal for Claude Code and agentic workflows.
• Claude Sonnet 4.6 — The everyday workhorse. Fast, highly capable, and the best balance of intelligence and speed. Great for coding, analysis, and creative work.
• Claude Haiku 4.5 — Ultra-fast and cost-effective. Perfect for classification, summarization, customer support, and high-volume API use cases.
